Be a Volunteer Coach

Are you interested in a regular volunteer opportunity where you can help make students better leaders and the world a better place? Two Birds coaches typically volunteer once a week for two hours helping students to push their ideas further.

Your Questions, Answered.

Do students really do the work?

Yes, we really do! While our students lead and do the work, adult coaches provide inspiration, expertise, and guidance as well as training and quality control. We have students of all experience levels working on each project. More experienced students help ones who are still learning.

How do I join Two Birds?

All high school students are encouraged to apply. No experience necessary. After completing the application, students will be interviewed in an effort to gauge their areas of expertise, curiosities, interests, and/or passions. From there, new Two Birders may jump into a current project, propose their own project, or develop their skills and confidence by attending Flight School.

Does Two Birds charge its clients?

Yes. Funds raised go back into One Stone to help keep Two Birds and our other Studios + Labs free and accessible for all students. Contact us for a proposal.

How much does a logo cost?

Depends on your specific needs, goals, objectives, and timeline, but generally speaking, we charge between $475 and $1,250 for a new suite of logos. Our students can choose to take on a project as Pro Bono (free or reduced cost) if it aligns with our mission and their passions.

How much does a video cost?

There are many variables with video production. The cost depends on your specific needs, goals, objectives, and timeline, as well as the resources provided by the client (i.e., is a brand guide, video footage, script, talent, or images being provided?). Typically, we charge between $2,000 and $7,500 for three-to-five minutes of video. Our students can choose to take on a project as Pro Bono (free or reduced cost) if it aligns with our mission and their passions.

How much does a design thinking CrashUP cost?

Two Birds offers 1-2 hour ideation or empathy workshops, half-day and full-day design thinking and team building CrashUps, or multi-day strategic planning workshops and retreats. The cost for each is determined by the scope, length of time, needs, goals, materials, facilities, food/drink, set up and clean up, staffing, and the amount of individual customization required for each workshop.
