TWO BIRDS SUMMER INTERNSHIPS

This summer, Two Birds is offering two unique summer internships in the Treasure Valley. Our internships are professional, creative opportunities for current high school students (rising 9-12th grade), as well as 2022 high school graduates. Interns will be responsible for producing video, graphic design, audio content for Two Birds clients. Past clients include the Idaho Nonprofit Center, FARE Idaho, Upward Knowbility, Boise All-Ages Movement Project, Bogus Basin, Treefort Music Fest, and One Stone. This year, we are offering two distinct internships, focusing on different areas of creative production and design. The first team of interns will take on a graphic design client, creating static media, style-guides, artwork, and other content for our client to implement in their brand identity. Later, the second team of interns will plan, produce, and edit professional video content for their unique client. Both sessions will include client interaction, use of professional tools and software, and creative collaboration. Individuals seeking a thoughtful, immersive, and innovative internship while building their creative portfolio and social and professional capitol are strongly encouraged to apply.
Our design internship will launch the week of June 12th and is targeted to end June 23rd, depending on client deadlines. This team of interns will tackle the use of typography, imagery, marketing, language, and color to communicate ideas, build brand identity, and engage audiences.

Our video internship will launch the week of July 31st and is targeted to end August 11th, depending on client deadlines. This team will capture and document events and stories to create compelling video content. The interns will plan, produce, and edit all content to communicate the client’s message, values, story, and ideas.

Both teams of interns should plan to meet regularly from 1:00PM to 5:00PM MST at One Stone’s headquarters. Individuals and project teams will have the opportunity to design their own schedule within and beyond the outlined hours. Interns will work independently and in small teams for approximately 25-30 hours weekly. Weekly schedules may vary by project commitments, but will likely include a minimum of 5 hours a day, five days a week. Two Birds is flexible to work around existing commitments and work experience, while it is expected that all interns complete approximately 60 hours of work throughout the course of this experience. Applicants and interns are also encouraged to join the Two Birds team in the spring and fall.
We are looking for students who want to learn and grow as creatives, leaders, storytellers, and entrepreneurs. Students with any of the following skills, curiosity, passion, or desire to grow in any of these areas will thrive in Two Birds:
Strong writing and/or storytelling
Effective communication and collaboration
Business, marketing, or advertising strategy
Spanish speaking and/or writing
Graphic design, photography and/or videography
Music production, audio engineering, and recording
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other software (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Premiere)
