One Stone High School Director
Michael Reagan is a One Stone certified mentor, coach, and consultant in the areas of student leadership, design thinking, student-driven learning, and professional project-based learning. As the One Stone Director of School, Michael is responsible for the planning, management, and communication of the high school experience with students, families, staff, partners, and visitors. During his time at One Stone, he has served as the Director of Design Thinking and the Director of Two Birds, which is One Stone’s student-powered creative studio. Michael joined One Stone in 2016 and was a member of the One Stone lab school’s founding team, where he collaborated with students and staff to design and build one of the most innovative high schools in the world. He helped create One Stone’s competency-based assessment model, the Growth Framework, which empowers students to set goals, reflect, and track growth in essential, durable skills that lead to a student’s ability to express themself with confidence. A former marketing executive, Michael brings 18 years of experience working in the advertising industry as a vice president and creative director. He is a former soccer coach at youth and college levels, a competitive goalkeeper, and remains a passionate fan of the Beautiful Game (and also of Star Wars).
