Design thinking teams in our Experience Lab (XLab) and Design Lab (DLab) cohorts will present pitch videos culminating their projects from this spring. With our remote plan, we have employed the power of the pivot in huge ways and are so excited for the opportunity to share what we have been working on. We have two virtual presentation opportunities to engage with our sharing of these human-centered design thinking challenges. Teams have been working on some incredible community partners including Proud Source Water, Consilio, The Interfaith Sanctuary, The Booth Marian Pritchett School, and many more.

In the afternoon on May 14th, we will be in 5 small groups using Google Meet with 4-5 teams presenting and each participant will provide feedback on the projects with a provided rubric. From these rubrics, we will determine the top 5 teams to present out in our evening Best of Disruption Day program over Zoom and Facebook Live on our One Stone Facebook Page. We encourage parents, community members, and anyone interested in learning more about our design thinking projects to join for an afternoon session or the evening, or both! Additionally, student teams will include their project abstracts, pitch videos, and case studies on a Google Site that will live in perpetuity, beginning One Stone’s virtual Design Thinking project library.
