2022 DLAB & XLAB TEAMS 

Design Lab is a project-based learning framework rooted in design thinking. Students develop solutions to problems found in the community of Boise and beyond by working with partners on long-term, real-world projects. The process requires primary and secondary research, empathy interviewing, extensive field work, writing, professional communication and presentation, as well as other relevant disciplinary skills. This year, students designed for problems ranging from isolated seniors in local low-income nursing homes to helping LGBTQIA+ youth as far away as Florida feel like they belong.
