DESCRIPTION:
Slingshot is a professional, creative internship opportunity for current high school students (rising 9-12th grade), as well as 2022 high school graduates. Interns from across the country will be responsible for producing video, graphic design, audio content for Two Birds clients. Past clients include Albertsons, Astrochicken, Idaho Out-of-School Network, Idea51, Micron Technology, Saalt, Treefort Music Fest, University of Idaho, and One Stone. Individuals seeking a thoughtful, immersive, and innovative internship while building their creative portfolio and social and professional capitol are strongly encouraged to apply. DURATION &
SCHEDULE:
The remote internship will launch the week of June 12th and is targeted to end June 23rd, depending on client deadlines. Individuals and project teams may create their own schedules; meeting regularly from 9:00AM to 12:00PM MST. Interns will work independently and in small teams for approximately 15-20 hours weekly. Weekly schedules may vary by project commitments, but will likely include a minimum of 3 hours a day, five days a week. Slingshot is flexible to work around existing commitments and work experience, while it is expected that all Slingshot interns complete approximately 30 hours of work throughout the course of this experience . Applicants and interns are also encouraged to join Two Birds in the spring and fall.

We are looking for students who want to learn and grow as creatives, leaders, storytellers, and entrepreneurs. Students with any of the following skills, curiosity, passion, or desire to grow in any of these areas will thrive in Slingshot:
Strong writing and/or storytelling
Effective communication and collaboration
Business, marketing, or advertising strategy
Spanish speaking and/or writing
Graphic design, photography and/or videography
Music production, audio engineering, and recording
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other software (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Premiere)
