Will you be a 7th or 8th grader this fall? Are you interested in learning more about starting your own business, innovation, pitching ideas, etc? Register now for One Stone’s “Venture” Entrepreneurship Camp! Venture is a three full-day summer experience designed to explore what it takes to make it in the world of start ups and includes free lunch, snack, swag, and more. FREE for any incoming 7th and 8th graders interested in learning about entrepreneurship- no experience necessary!
Here’s what you can expect at Venture:
Design and pitch a start-up using the tools and resources at One Stone
Work alongside high school students from One Stone’s Venture Camp planning team
Engage with local entrepreneurs
Practice iteration and a fail forward mindset
Learn about the business model canvas
“Before Venture Camp, I never really considered being an entrepreneur. At first, Venture Camp was a bit out of my comfort zone. However, it pushed me to think deeply about myself and what I want to do with my life. I now see that being an entrepreneur isn't out of reach, and that though it won't be easy, it definitely can be an amazing life experience. The One Stone team is committed to providing a safe and healthy camp experience that follows current guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control, the American Camp Association, Central District Health, and the offices of Governor Little and Mayor McLean. We are adjusting our original camp structure to cater to physical distancing, increased sanitation and cleanliness, new building capacities, and safety precautions. All events will adhere to social distancing guidelines for the health and safety of our community and families.
