Open Book Adventures is a FREE, six week long (once a week) Project Good program designed to encourage a love of literacy in first and second grade learners. Little buddies are paired one-on-one with a high school “Adventure Guide” to practice reading and writing skills. OBA also includes a healthy snack and group game time to fuel a fun and engaging experience.
One Stone students practice leadership and problem-solving skills while younger buddies develop their love for reading, writing and creativity–an experience that forms enduring bonds and everlasting memories between guide and buddy.
Currently in its 19th iteration, OBA serves as One Stone’s longest running Project Good program. Open Book Adventures is a no-cost program supported by One Stone and the Whittenberger Foundation.
